NETWORK DEVELOPMENT

A significant proportion of our activity is directed at the continued growth of the international network of firms. Russell Bedford competes for prospective members with some 50 other similar networks and associations. The search for new members involves market research, direct mail campaigns, telephone calls and presentations.

MARKETING

The Russell Bedford brand is actively promoted internationally, both on and offline, including via our website which also links to member firms’ own websites. In terms of marketing tools, the central office is responsible for producing brochures, directories, and magazines. Regular network communication is another key area of responsibility for the central team and this is administered via regular news posts, newsletters, social media activity and through maintaining a members-only intranet with regular updates and relevant content.

Responsibilities

  • Internet-based market research
  • Regular communication with existing and prospective member firms (in relevant languages)
  • Assistance with administration of conferences (depending on time of year)
  • Assistance with website and database maintenance
  • Assistance with other marketing and administrative activities, as required.

Students are expected to have good keyboard and computing skills (MS Office and Internet).

A high level of written and spoken English is required, and the ability to communicate in other languages is preferred.

Students will receive support and supervision from the Network Development Director.

Students are normally expected to have (or are working toward) a degree in Marketing / Business Administration / International Business and would usually obtain financial support via a grant under the Erasmus / Leonardo Da Vinci program.

Internships are offered on a full-time basis and office hours are from 09:30 to 17:30 hrs Monday to Friday. Students will accumulate approximately two days’ leave per month in addition to public holidays.
