Personal Assistant (Support Worker) – Sessional shifts, £13.45 / hour, within an award‑winning social care charity.

The role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes, providing personal care, moving and handling assistance, and expanding their social networks and connections.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care and daily activities.
• Provide moving and handling support.
• Deliver positive behavioural support.
• Expand individuals’ social networks and connections.
• Collaborate with a bespoke team to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.

Qualifications

• Adapt communication style to build successful relationships with those supported.
• Commit to working with individuals through their personal support plans to achieve goals and celebrate successes.
• Maintain a positive, flexible outlook and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• No prior care experience required; values and transferable skills are key.
