We Are Hiring
As a Quality Technician on the Quality and Engineering Team, you will safeguard product quality, analyse production data, address quality findings with manufacturing, troubleshoot file issues, conduct audits, and support engineering trials on new materials and machines. Your work directly impacts our reputation for high‑quality, delightful products and drives continuous improvement across our production.
Responsibilities
- Conduct material inspection and new material qualification: perform incoming material inspection and engineering trials to validate new materials and suppliers.
- Troubleshoot and remediate print files using software such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Ensure process compliance: conduct regular process audits to verify adherence to documented quality standards.
- Collect and analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for corrective action.
- Manage non‑conforming product: administer containment and re‑work actions for poor‑quality items.
- Perform engineering trials in collaboration with US and UK teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and raise potential production risks.
- Provide quality support for rush requests and specialised orders that require extra checks.
About You
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and charting; also use Word and PowerPoint for documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical aptitude with basic troubleshooting or file correction, ideally in Adobe Photoshop.
- Investigative approach to uncover root causes, leveraging data and collaboration.
- Decision‑making based on thorough research and documented facts, with risk mitigation and stakeholder updates.
- Strong multitasking under pressure and suggestion of improvements.
- Clear explanation of quality standards, sharing knowledge and constructive feedback.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in a dedicated Quality Control role within manufacturing.
- Managing QC Hold inventory or leading Material Review Board meetings.
- Certification such as CSSYB‑Six Sigma Yellow Belt or other quality improvement certificates.
- Experience with data reporting and analysis tools such as Tableau and Minitab.
