HGV Technicians

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
• Support the development of young trainees and apprentices.

Qualifications

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance? Have you worked on HGVs before or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry? If you enjoy getting your hands dirty, we want you.

Compensation & Benefits

• £3,000 joining bonus (net payment on first pay check and after 6 month probation for direct applicants).
• Salary up to £26 per hour depending on skill set & experience.
• Rotating shift (Monday – Friday 0600–1430hrs / 1430–2300hrs, 40 hrs per week paid) with other shifts available; overtime Saturday & Sunday (double time Sunday).
