Operations / Data Analyst – Longevity and Protection

Salary: £45 000 – £65 000 per annum

We’re looking for a candidate with Longevity or Protection experience combined with strong analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities. The role requires an aptitude for managing data and analysis with advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of basic coding or an interest in learning is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Management Information (MI) for reporting teams’ performance and account processing statuses, including various operational initiatives, implementations, and ad‑hoc reports.
• Plan and deliver the Operations client audit programme; coordinate external audits on behalf of Europe Operations.
• Lead continuous improvement (CI) initiatives by driving an innovative, change‑oriented mindset; collaborate with stakeholders to improve systems and processes; manage SOP documentation and training materials for Europe Operations.
• Develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation to ensure client and internal customer needs are met; maintain a thorough understanding of assigned client portfolio; update management reports and raise any potential reporting issues.
• Validate key reports before sharing with stakeholders; highlight any issues with client data or extraordinary data trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Longevity or Protection within an insurance or financial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic coding knowledge or willingness to learn.
