We are recruiting to our Revenues and Benefits Service. We are looking for someone who can bring transferable skills and experience to our team. We are recruiting to 2 full‑time positions.
As a Case Management Officer within our Business Rates team, you will play a key role in ensuring the prompt and efficient billing and collection of Business Rates on behalf of our client councils.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and applying legislation, guidance and local policies.
- Updating computerised records.
- Communicating with customers using a range of accessible communication methods (phone, email, written correspondence) to provide advice, explanations and clarification of decisions and actions.
- Processing applications for Business Rates Relief in accordance with legislation, guidance and local policies.
- Providing tailored support where customers may be experiencing financial difficulty or vulnerability, including helping them access appropriate advice, guidance or support services.
Required Experience
- Experience of handling enquiries in a customer‑focused environment.
- GCSE C/4 or above in English and Maths.
