Role: Chef de PartieLocation: Lympstone Manor, between Exeter and ExmouthSalary: £34,000 plus Tronc (£7,500) per annumHours: Full time 48 hours over 5 days a weekRelationships: Kitchen, Restaurant and Housekeeping team
About the Role
Chef de Partie responsible for managing their section, collaborating with senior staff to deliver high quality dishes, using outstanding local produce. The position is hands‑on and requires pride in craft, teamwork, and continuous learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running your section with confidence and attention to detail
- Supporting junior chefs and contributing to a positive kitchen culture
- Assisting in management of stock to keep waste to a minimum
- Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard, consistently
- Working collaboratively across the kitchen to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Who We’re Looking For
- Calm, professional approach in a busy service environment
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to step up
- A desire to develop and progress within a quality‑driven kitchen
- A genuine passion for food and high‑quality ingredients
- Always presented to a high standard with a strong work ethic
