Location: North London
Hours: Night Shifts – 5pm to 1am (37.5 hrs per week). You must live in (or very close to) the N postcode area. Caring. Compassionate. Resilient. You could be a Field Officer for Serco, using these strengths to make a positive difference for people during a difficult time in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment.
- Work alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer.
- Build confidence in you and the justice system, reassure individuals of their safety and that of the public.
- Contribute to reducing pressure on the prison system and help ex-prisoners re-engage with their communities.
- Adapt to a varied daily routine with a rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
What you need to do the job
- Commitment to making a difference to the lives of others; full training and mentorship will be provided (2 weeks initial training plus shadowing).
- Current valid UK driver’s license.
- Reasonably fit with good written and verbal communication skills for building relationships with individuals.
- This role requires BPSS and Standard DBS clearance (identity verification, employment history checks, and a Standard DBS check covering spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings).
- An Occupational Health Questionnaire will be completed to support wellbeing and performance.
