A specialist SEN school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate Primary PMLD Teacher to join their team with an immediate start available. This role involves working with pupils aged 3-11 with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a highly specialised setting.

Role & Key Duties

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons.
• Teach pupils aged 3-11 with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
• Deliver sensory‑based learning activities suited to complex learning needs.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet communication, physical, and developmental needs.
• Work alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and SEN professionals.
• Use communication tools including PECS, sensory resources, and interactive learning approaches.
• Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets.
• Create a calm, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support pupils with communication, engagement, and life skills activities.

Ideal Candidate

• Proactive, patient, resilient, and experienced working within SEN or PMLD settings.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
• Have previous experience teaching pupils aged 3-11 within SEN education.
