Junior Installation Technician

Location: Glasgow, covering the UK and Ireland. Salary: £27,000 – £32,500 (40K OTE) plus training, progression, bonus, overnight allowance, and pool van.

Overview

Junior or aspiring Electrical Technician with a recent electrical qualification (NVW, HNC, HND, 18th Edition, etc.) looking to kickstart a career. The role offers further qualifications and a development pathway to become a fully autonomous Field Service Engineer, working on condition‑monitoring systems that keep the Grid running.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers with the installation of Condition Monitoring Systems across the UK and Ireland.
• Travel frequently and stay overnight up to 100 nights per year.
• Shadow trained engineers and attend external manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Junior or Aspiring Electrical Technician.
• Any relevant electrical qualification (NVW, HNC, HND, 18th Edition, etc.).
• Full UK Driver’s Licence.
• Willingness to learn, develop skills, and work independently.
