The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher (QTS) to work across a variety of secondary schools in Luton.

This role involves delivering engaging lessons across your subject specialism at Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for flexible working, long term placements or a pathway into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire and motivate students through engaging and inclusive teaching
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess, mark and provide clear feedback on student work
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching where required
  • Contribute positively to the wider school environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Strong subject knowledge in their specialism
  • Confident and effective in the classroom
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible, reliable and committed to student progress
  • Previous secondary teaching experience is desirable but not essential
