Delivery Driver 3.5T

Delivery Driver 3.5T – Aberystwyth (SY23 3JQ) – Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group.

Salary: £26,695 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to customers.
• Perform itemized vehicle checks before each shift.
• Load and unload deliveries, manually handling heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks.
• Assist in warehouse duties after deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.
• Support trade counter operations during quieter periods.
• Work a permanent schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:30, and every third Saturday 08:00 – 12:00 (overtime paid).

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Previous multicrop driving experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices.
• Team‑player attitude, willing to aid warehouse operations for smooth branch functioning.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic.
