Move On & Resettlement Worker – Specialist Refuges
Job Ref: nia 211 • Hours: 35 hrs/week • Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience and qualification) • Location: Camden, Haringey and Islington. This post is funded until 31 March 2027, with a possibility of further extension.
The role supports women living in nia’s specialist refuges to move on into accommodation and helps them resettle and build resilient support networks.
Responsibilities
Provide tailored support and case management to women transitioning out of the refuge, assisting with housing arrangements, accessing community resources, and developing self‑reliance and resilience skills. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community agencies to secure suitable accommodation and ongoing support.
Qualifications
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and passionate about ending violence against women, girls and children.
- Demonstrable commitment to feminist, trauma‑informed and anti‑racist practice.
- Can‑do approach with a track record of supporting vulnerable populations.
