Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refurb Plant Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in plant or vehicle maintenance to work in a workshop-based role. Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance on a variety of machines, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.
• Stripping down machinery and rebuilding them to optimal working condition.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults in a timely and effective manner.
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure workshop operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• A recognized qualification in plant or vehicle maintenance.
• Proven experience in machine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and equipment refurbishment.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will involve:

• Working in a workshop-based environment from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Performing hands‑on maintenance, stripping, and rebuilding of machinery.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure equipment is operational.
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
• Optional weekend work for those seeking additional hours and overtime opportunities.
