Learning Disability Support Worker

As one of the main contracted suppliers to a range of independent living services across Belfast we are recruiting CPI Trained Learning Disability Support Workers. MPA offers CPI training if required.

We can offer staff full time or part time hours so you can pick up shifts around your current role or take on a completely new challenge.

Shift Patterns include: long days, waking night shifts, early shifts, afternoon shift & sleepovers

Pay Rates: £12.75-£21.55 (Shift Dependant)

A day to day working with our clients will include:

• Taking part in daily activities
• Following service user support plans
• Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
• Promoting independence where appropriate
• Assisting with all aspects of personal care & feeding

The Person:

• 6 months minimum paid experience working with learning disability
• Must be CPI Trained OR willing to complete MPA training
• Registered with NISCC
• Willingness to do mandatory training courses
• Must complete Enhanced Access NI check
