Role Overview

The School Operations team provides a professional operational service, made up of Personal and Executive Assistants, Administrators, Project Officers, and Operations Managers closely aligned to the School’s Departments. The team works closely with other business areas across the School, Faculty and University to deliver activity and undertake business improvement projects, sharing best practice and promoting personal and professional development.

Context of the Role

The Operations Administrator role provides comprehensive and proactive operational support across the School. This dynamic and demanding role requires considerable flexibility and prioritisation to deliver operational support for all staff and the wider community.

  • Ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with academic, administrative and external customers.
  • Facilitate the smooth running of day‑to‑day activities by following, implementing processes and managing arising issues.
  • Provide support and guidance, in a supervisory capacity, to other members of the operational team.
  • Prioritise tasks to deliver operational support for all staff within the School and wider community.
  • Support other areas across the School when required.
