ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II

Qualifications

Must meet the following criteria or an equivalent combination of training and experience per Personnel Policies and Procedures, Section 100:

• Completion of 60 hours from an accredited college or university in the field of pre‑engineering or other related fields;
• Four (4) years of experience relevant to the essential tasks listed in this job description.

Job Details

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Location: 175 E. 2nd St, 13th floor (TM).

Licenses and Certificates

• Possession of a valid class “D” Oklahoma Driver license;
• Possession of a Certified Technician certificate by the National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technicians;
• Registration as a Land Surveyor Intern or Professional Land Surveyor licensed by the State of Oklahoma;
• Obtaining an Oklahoma Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Road Scholar Certificate;
• An ODEQ Class D Water or Wastewater license within twenty‑four (24) months of hire in some positions.
