Responsibilities
As an intern, you will play a crucial role throughout the summer, managing teams of volunteers and acting as the backbone of the crew.
- Manage teams of volunteers and provide ongoing site knowledge.
- Lead and undertake longer‑term projects.
- Assist in setting up and taking down the site.
- Run individual or portfolio projects with a focus on sustainability, ecotourism and outdoor living.
- Help maintain teamwork and guidance through the induction and continual support from a trustee board member.
Past Project Examples
- Writing a strategy for the charity.
- Designing and painting educational boards and signs.
- Conducting a carbon footprint analysis.
- Assisting with the charity’s social media.
- Designing and running educational workshops for volunteers.
Qualifications
- Interest in sustainability and social issues.
