Server/Waiter/Waitress

We are seeking a Server/Waiter/Waitress to become an integral part of our team! You will take orders and serve food and drinks to patrons. We’re an award-winning restaurant located on Nantasket Beach, MA. Open year round, we offer a consistent income and employment opportunity. All experience levels welcome. This may be a stepping stone for servers to become a bartender as we will train you on how to prepare our delicious mixed drinks.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Explain to guests about menu items
• For qualified individuals: prepare alcoholic mixed drinks (we will train)
• Clean and prepare the dining areas
• Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• A can-do attitude, and ability to wear multiple hats
• Reliable schedule (including weekend and night availability) and reliable transportation

References will be needed upon employment.

This is a ‘tipped’ employee position, more than 80% of your earnings will come from tips.
