Job Description:

Are you a skilled trainer and mental health professional who thrives on making a real difference in people’s working lives?

Everymind at Work is looking for a passionate and experienced Wellbeing Trainer to join our growing team. Someone who brings both real-world credibility and engaging facilitation skills to every session.

This is a varied, people-centred role combining the delivery of mental health training to corporate clients, direct support to Supporters such as Mental Health First Aiders & Champions, and the creation of high-quality mental health resources and training.

About the role:

You will be responsible for delivering impactful mental health training to corporate clients across virtual and in-person settings, providing structured 1:1 support calls to Supporters, and contributing to the development of training materials and psychoeducational content.

Your grounding in direct therapeutic or support work will be central to everything you do, enabling you to draw on lived professional experience when supporting those supporting others, handling sensitive disclosures, and ensuring all guidance is safe, evidence-based, and appropriately signposted.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of mental health training sessions confidently and engagingly to corporate clients, both virtually (Microsoft Teams, and other platforms) and in-person across the UK
  • Provide structured 1:1 support calls to Supporters such as Mental Health First Aiders and Champions, offering professional guidance, signposting to appropriate resources, and a safe space to debrief and reflect on their role
  • Apply sound knowledge of safeguarding, crisis prevention, and basic counselling skills to respond appropriately to disclosures or concerns raised during training or support calls
  • Contribute to the creation and development of mental health training programmes, psychoeducational content, and supporting resources
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mental health landscape to ensure all content and guidance is current, accurate, and clinically informed
  • Travel to client sites around the UK as required

What we’re looking for (Essential):

  • A degree in Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Proven first-hand experience working with individuals in a therapeutic, counselling, or direct mental health support role (e.g. as a counsellor, therapist, psychological wellbeing practitioner, IAPT worker, or similar)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of safeguarding adults, crisis prevention, risk management, and appropriate clinical signposting
  • Sound working knowledge of basic counselling skills and how to apply them in non-clinical contexts
  • Proven experience as a trainer, speaker, or facilitator in the wellbeing or mental health space
  • Strong background in learning and development, including designing and delivering training programmes
  • Willingness to travel to client locations across the UK and, where necessary, further afield

What we’re looking for (Desirable):

  • Experience delivering psychoeducational content
  • Familiarity with the Mental Health First Aid framework and understanding of the role within organisations
  • Experience supporting or supervising peer supporters, volunteers, or mental health champions

Why join Everymind at Work?

  • 25 days annual leave, plus the Christmas period (pro rata)
  • Remote working, with co-working spaces available across the UK
  • An open, inclusive culture that encourages you to bring your whole self to work
  • Quarterly in-person team meet-ups to connect and collaborate
  • The opportunity to work in a flexible, purpose-led, award-winning organisation, making a genuine difference to workplace mental health
