Banking & Finance Paralegal

Position

Large UK International law firm based near St Paul’s is seeking to hire a Banking & Finance Paralegal who understands fee earner needs and demands of a busy, fast‑paced transactional environment.

Base Pay Range

• Salary to £44,000
• Hours: 09:30-17:30 (Monday‑Friday)
• 50% hybrid working / office attendance

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding arrangements for client and preparing engagement letters.
• Preparing ancillary documents and forms and managing documents generally as part of the transactional process.
• Managing the conditions precedent process.
• Preparing documents for completion of transactions.
• Checking and proof‑reading documents.
• Supporting the Banking & Finance team to ensure outstanding service to clients.
• Preparing and managing payment instruction forms and invoices.
• Generally assisting the smooth running of the team and the flow of transactions.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous Paralegal experience working within a Banking & Finance team or similar.
• Experience within Property / Real Estate transactions desirable.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and excellent organisational skills.
• IT literate, confident user of MS Office.
