HGV Technician

Salary: up to £22.95 per hour, plus £0.50 per hour for a valid HGV licence, plus Veolia benefits and pension. Hours: 40 per week, Monday–Friday. Overtime available as required. Location: Haringey, N17 0FJ.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Veolia fleet, third‑party vehicles, and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Run diagnostics using various equipment.
• Perform hydraulic, electrical, pneumatics diagnostics and repairs.
• Assist with other general work as required by the Workshop Management Team.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and ensure personal and others’ safety.
• Complete necessary paperwork and timesheets accurately.
• Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations.
• Perform roadside repairs when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician.
• Valid HGV driving licence.
• Skilled or semi‑skilled technicians are welcome and will be provided upskilling opportunities.
