We are offering a basic salary between £28,000 – £35,000 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40‑hour working week; Saturdays are paid as overtime, and there’s an additional over‑performance bonus opportunity.
Responsibilities
Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will carry out pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDIs are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines, working to agreed time frames, maintaining a high level of productivity and ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first‑time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
Qualifications and Skills
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- MOT licence preferred but not essential
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
