The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine / Process Operator for one of our well-established clients based in the Hortonwood area.

This role is working within a food manufacturing environment, with responsibility for the beginning stages of the production process.

Working Hours & Pay

• Night shifts: 18:00 – 06:00
• Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off
• Pay rate: £15.56 per hour

Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate

Role Overview

As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for the early stages of food production, ensuring materials and machinery are set up correctly and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and setting production machinery
• Preparing and managing the start of the manufacturing process
• Monitoring production to ensure quality and efficiency
• Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures
• Supporting general production duties when required

Requirements

• Previous machine operating and setting experience (essential)
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment (essential)
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (preferred)
• FLT licence (preferred, but not essential – training can be provided)
• Reliable and able to work 12‑hour night shifts on a rota basis
