This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic RE teacher who is confident delivering engaging and thought‑provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will play an important role in inspiring students to explore different beliefs, values, and ethical perspectives within a dynamic and supportive department.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for RE
- Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be dedicated to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Have the ability to contribute positively to the wider school community
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support students’ academic and personal development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities where appropriate
- Uphold the school’s values, policies, and commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
