Salary
£27,000 rising to £28,500
Benefits

Responsibilities
- Conduct audits on fully built machines and those undergoing repair following inspection standard work.
- Record defect information in detail via electronic, manual processes or visual boards.
- Communicate defects clearly to other areas and support personnel as issues arise.
- Participate in defect investigations and projects as required.
- Support and train new team members.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and total preventative maintenance (TPM).
- Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy and safe working practice.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of Quality Gate experience at Caterpillar.
- Experience with the Built-in Quality process, reporting defects and root cause analysis.
- Good understanding of assembly operations practices and processes.
- Ability to work closely with others as a team member to achieve agreed goals.
- Self‑motivated, with flexibility to work independently and in a team.
- Highly organised with keen attention to detail.
- Must be flexible and available to support extra hours if required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A desire to help improve the build quality of our machines.
