Care Support Worker – Adult Education Centre | N8 | September StartAxcis Education is recruiting for a caring and reliable Care Support Worker to join an adult education centre in the N8 area from September on a full‑time basis. This role involves supporting young adults and adult learners with additional needs, helping them access education, life skills, and daily activities within a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support learners with SEND and complex needs
- Assist with personal care where required
- Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing
- Support learners during educational and practical activities
- Work closely with teaching and care staff to ensure student safety and engagement
Qualifications
- Experience working within care, SEND or support work settings
- Comfortable supporting personal care needs
- Patient, compassionate and reliable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting adults with additional needs desirable
