Switchgear Technician

Our Hove based engineering client is looking for an experienced Switchgear Technician/Panel Wirer to work alongside Technicians, Testers and Engineers to ensure high and accurate standard of build and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpretation of schematic and general arrangement drawings.
• Layout of panels
• Panel assembly including preparation of metalwork prior to assembly, cabling and small wiring.
• Copper busbar fitting.
• Panel installation on site.
• Liaising with engineers.

Skills and Abilities

Essential:

• Electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to interpret schematic and general arrangement drawings

Working Days and Hours

Mon to Thur, 07:45 to 16:30 and Fri 07:45 to 12:15

Start and Duration

Immediate start until the end of July 2026
