Print Finisher

We’re looking for an experienced Print Finisher to work with this leading print and communications provider on either a Day or Late Shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the final stages of the print process, transforming flat sheets into finished products for a variety of different industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Tasks will include guillotining, laminating, perfect binding, stitched booklet making, wiro binding, hard back book making, stapling and all other hand finishing requirements
• Reading and understanding job bag instructions before starting each project to ensure products are made to the correct specification
• Executing the finishing required to a high standard
• Being able to manage and prioritise projects according to the daily schedules in a fast paced environment
• Completing quality checks, ensuring all checking procedures are followed and QA sheets are signed on completion of each job
• Keeping a tidy and organised work space
• Understanding and operating to company health and safety standards

Personal Specifications

• A specific background in print finishing is desirable, book binding advantageous
• Being mechanically minded having worked with similar machines in another industry, would be considered
• The ability to work well under pressure
• A team player
