Grounds Maintenance Operative

Overview

Grounds Maintenance Operatives to cover sites throughout the Rochdale Borough. The contract will initially be temporary but could lead to permanent work for the successful candidate.

• £13.26 per hour
• 36.25 hours per week
• Mon to Fri
• Driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting
• Weeding
• Pruning and cutting shrubs and trees
• Using hand held machinery
• General tidying and maintenance

Qualifications

• General awareness of Health and Safety and ability to work in line with risk assessments
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and use your own initiative
• Ability to undertake a wide variety of work including heavy lifting
• Excellent customer service skills – put the customer first
• Must hold a full driving licence
