HGV Class 2 Driver/Loader

Salary: £15.30 per hour. Hours: Guaranteed 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:45 am start. Location: Bridgnorth, WV15 5BA.

Responsibilities

• Collect recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in Bridgnorth or Craven Arms areas
• Drive and load vehicles
• Undertake vehicle defect checks
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation, including the security and weight of loads
• Accurately record work completed using an onboard tablet device and report any collection issues that arise
• Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
• Assist other collection crews

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV licence
• Up‑to‑date CPC Digi / Tachograph card
• Willingness and capability to perform a mixed loading/driving role
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
• Previous experience working in a public‑facing role
