Overview
1:1 Teaching Assistant – PEG Feeding Experience Essential. Location: Bourton‑on‑the‑Water, GL54. Schedule: full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, starting in September. Salary: £92.63 per day. This role offers a temporary position with the possibility of permanent contract following an initial period.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to a Reception pupil throughout the school day.
- Safely administer PEG feeds in line with training and care plans.
- Support the child’s learning, communication and engagement in classroom activities.
- Promote independence, confidence and inclusion.
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEN professionals and parents to ensure the child’s needs are met.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience administering PEG feeds.
- Confidence supporting individuals with medical or additional needs.
- A caring, patient and reliable approach.
- Ability to work full‑time, Monday to Friday.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs.
- Experience providing PEG feeding support in healthcare, care or adult support settings.
