Location: Bristol
Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Support Officer to join our Family Nurse Partnership Team!

The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a voluntary home‑visiting programme that supports young, first‑time parents from early pregnancy until their child reaches two years of age. Specially trained Family Nurses work alongside parents to build confidence, strengthen parenting skills, and help give children the best possible start in life.

The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) Quality Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of the programme. Working closely with FNP Supervisors, Family Nurses, and wider public health teams, the postholder will coordinate and monitor data, support programme fidelity and reporting requirements, and contribute to the smooth running of operational and administrative processes that underpin high‑quality service delivery and positive outcomes for young parents and their babies.

This is a part‑time position working 22.5 hours per week. Due to team meeting requirements, working on Wednesdays is essential.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide comprehensive, high-level administrative, clerical, and data support to the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) team, ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Support Family Nurses with the practical preparation required for visits and activities, including printing and organising materials, preparing equipment and resources, and coordinating both physical and virtual materials.
  • Establish and maintain efficient office support systems to ensure FNP resources and materials are reproduced, organised, and available in a timely manner, maximising clinical contact time for Family Nurses.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the clinical and performance review requirements within the FNP Information System (Turas) and local clinical recording systems.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Turas reports and dashboards, providing support and guidance to new team members in accessing and using the system effectively.
  • Support the Supervisor with the analysis of team data within Turas and clinical records, producing accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Take a lead role in managing and promoting effective use of team data, role‑modeling a culture of learning and data analysis to support evidence-informed clinical practice.
  • Carry out regular quality checks of data within Turas, providing feedback to the Supervisor and wider team to support data accuracy and compliance.
