Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and successful Parks Horticultural Team within Streetscene.
The post holder will be working in Belle Vue and Beechwood Parks, which are Grade II listed and sit on the CADWS list of historic landscapes as well as holding Green Flag and National Heritage status. It is therefore essential that the post holder can demonstrate board knowledge of horticulture and has a sound plant knowledge skill set.
Working Hours
This position is full time. Summer hours are 7:30 am – 3:30 pm and winter hours are 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Qualifications
- Board knowledge of horticulture
- Sound plant knowledge skill set
- Valid driving licence
Responsibilities
- Grass cutting/mowing
- Weeding
- Using gardening equipment
