We are partnering with a high-growth, founder-led luxury beauty brand to appoint a Commercial Director or General Manager for EMEA to lead the next phase of regional expansion.
This role is designed for a high-caliber leader with a proven track record of managing a $40M+ business and a deep mastery of the Sephora ecosystem. Initially, the focus will be on building the commercial infrastructure, leading aggressive retail openings, and optimizing field execution, with a clear trajectory toward the General Manager, EMEA position.
A core focus of the role will be building and deepening the brand’s relationship with Sephora, making deep expertise and a proven track record working with Sephora across EMEA essential.
Requirements
- 12 plus years of Senior commercial leadership experience in prestige/luxury beauty. Must have a documented track record of managing a business exceeding $40M in revenue with full P&L ownership.
- Experience within a high-growth, founder-led, or private equity-backed environment where speed-to-market and entrepreneurial grit are required.
- Deep, “insider” knowledge of the Sephora retail model (Specialty-Retail) within the EMEA region is essential.
- Experience managing EMEA markets and selective distribution
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to growth
- A mentor and builder of teams who has successfully managed regional successions and structural evolutions.
