Trainee Labourer | £27,250 – £33,000 per annum l Salisbury

We’re recruiting a Trainee Labourer to join a specialist installation team working on projects across the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, variety, and travelling, with full structured training provided.
As a Trainee Labourer, you’ll work alongside experienced Team Leaders, supporting installations from start to finish while developing valuable on‑site skills in a supportive, close‑knit team environment.

Pay & Working Pattern
- Hourly rate: £13.10 per hour
- Overtime: Paid at time and a half
- Working away: Up to 4 nights per week when required (not every week, but likely during busy periods)
- Start and finish times vary depending on job location and project requirements
Your responsibilities as a Trainee Labourer will include:
- Assisting the Team Leader with on‑site installation projects from start to finish
- Preparing, cleaning and maintaining work areas throughout each project
- Collecting tools and materials from the van as required
- Using adhesives, sealants and felting materials as part of the installation process
- Handling tools and equipment safely on site
- Carrying out general housekeeping and site support tasks
- Supporting with manual labour activities as directed
Please note: this role involves physical work, including standing for long periods, heavy lifting and repetitive tasks, completed to a high standard.
What we’re looking for:
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
- A reliable, proactive and “can‑do” attitude
- Interest in outdoor, hands‑on work
- Previous labouring, construction or outdoor experience is useful but not essential
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
