Cleaner

Job Overview

The governors are seeking a temporary cleaner. 10 hours per week (2 hours per day, Monday – Friday between 3.10pm – 5.10pm), Term Time only. Temporary until 31/07/2027.

Responsibilities

• Clean all rooms, toilets, corridors, staircases, offices, and other areas in use under direction of Business Manager.
• Carry out all cleaning work to the required standard, at the stated frequencies, and as instructed by caregiver.
• Report any issues that may affect caretaker’s work or need their attention.
• Work cooperatively with other cleaners at the site.
• Comply with council’s Health and Safety practices, including COSHH.
• Maintain storage lockers, cupboards, and machinery in clean and tidy condition.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials in prescribed manner, ensuring safe usage and storage.
• Complete required paperwork, including timesheets.
• Carry out any other reasonable work instructions.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS required.
• Capability to work in both English and Welsh (bilingual workforce).
