KEY STAGE 2 TEACHER – STAFFORD JUNIOR SCHOOL
Hours of work: 32.5 hrs per week. Working pattern: Full‑time. Start date: September 2026.
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 (Upper Pay Range). Permanent.
Closing date: 9am Monday 8 June 2026. Interview date: Thursday 11 June 2026.
About the role
We are seeking an inspirational teacher who can inspire and motivate pupils to be the very best that they can be. This role is suitable for both early‑career and experienced teachers.
Key responsibilities and expectations
- Inspire and motivate pupils to reach their potential.
- Collaborate with year‑group teams in a supportive environment.
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, sequenced curriculum.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour in classrooms and across the school.
- Support pupils’ personal, social and health education and help them develop self‑regulation, working memory and flexible thinking.
- Encourage confidence in public speaking and other communication skills.
- Participate in professional development and support programmes for teachers.
- Foster a culture of enthusiasm, creativity and positivity.
- Demonstrate integrity, determination and resilience with high expectations of themselves and others.
- Champion a sense of pride in the community and nurture individual talents.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with a commitment to inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster good professional relationships with pupils, families and external partners.
- Experience in early years or Key Stage 2 teaching (preferred).
- Willingness to complete pre‑employment checks, including a self‑declaration of non‑disqualification under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018 and an Enhanced DBS check.
- The successful candidate must not be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
