Gynae-oncology MDT Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Gynae-oncology MDT. This role requires the individual to build strong working relationships with clinical teams around the Trust as well as other administrative teams. There is lots of opportunity to network and bring innovation into the current working processes.
Main duties of the job
- Attend, minute and record outcomes of Gynae-oncology MDT meetings.
- Provide administrative facilitation of MDT meetings, including preparing, organising and circulating agendas, and recording outcomes.
- Assist and supervise the collation of all relevant documentation for team meetings.
- Identify and coordinate appropriate patient referrals for discussion at the MDT team meetings.
- Confirm MDT decisions to referring clinicians and primary care.
- Maintain an attendance record.
- Coordinate with colleagues regarding MDT actions.
- Create correspondence as appropriate.
- Organise MDT outpatient appointments and liaise with the clinical team and patients regarding this.
- Work alongside the Gynae-oncology nurses.
Gynae-oncology is based at the city hospital within the Reproductive Health Division.

Qualifications
- Educated to A-level or equivalent standard A-C GCSE passes in Maths and English
Experience
- Previous experience using all functions of Microsoft Excel
- Efficient organisation of meetings and other appointments within a very broad and dynamic agenda
- Experience in a similar role
Communication
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
Planning & Organisational
- Good time management and works with initiative
- Demonstrates an ability to organise own work schedule
