A Global semiconductor giant based in Cambridge are seeking to bolster their team with a talented Analog Design Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contributor to the design, implementation, and verification of complex power-management blocks and subsystems in connectivity, voice, and music chips.
- Define architectures for power-management blocks, plan development activities, and provide comprehensive documentation for cross-functional teams.
- Deliver fully verified analog blocks and participate in subsystem-level verification within the analog section of the chip.
- Solve complex technical problems in tightly constrained design environments, ensuring high-quality solutions.
- Stay current with industry developments, act as a technical expert for analog sub-cell design, and collaborate with macro leads to ensure timely delivery of subsystems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in analog design, particularly with power-management IPs such as SMPS and LDOs.
- Strong understanding of analog design principles and experience designing various power-management blocks.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and define technical requirements for projects.
- Proficiency in analog design and verification techniques, including use of Cadence and Mentor tools.
- Familiarity with system-level design tools (e.g., MATLAB) is a plus, along with strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
