The Best Connection are recruiting a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, a leading national building materials distributor.
While this specific assignment is for relief cover, we have plenty of other assignments to move you onto seamlessly once this contract ends.

The Role
- Deliver pipeline, heating, and plumbing materials safely to commercial sites and trade customers.
- Offload goods using standard manual handling techniques, tail lifts, or pump trucks.
- Multi-drop work – efficiency and accuracy are essential.
- Customer-facing role – you’ll represent both the client and The Best Connection in a professional and friendly manner.
The Candidate
- Full, clean UK Class 2 driving licence.
- Newly passed drivers are welcome and accepted.
- Smart appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused.
- Physical fitness for manual handling and multi-drop delivery tasks.
Hours of Work and Pay
- Day shift – Monday to Friday pattern.
- £15.00 per hour.
- Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift.
- No weekend, bank holiday, or overnight shifts on this assignment.
