Class 1 HGV driver

Overview

We are seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retail store deliveries across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 HGV
• Unload via tail lift
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

Shift & Pay (Inclusive of Holiday pay)

• 4 ON 4 OFF
• Monday to Friday days – £175
• Saturday Days – £190
• Sunday Days – £200
• Monday to Friday Nights – £190
• Saturday Night – £200
• Sunday Night – £225

Note: The above rates are inclusive of Holiday pay. Holiday pay can also be separately accrued.

Skills / Qualifications

• Possess a valid C+E Class 1 HGV licence – 24+ Months C+E experience
• Valid CPC and tachograph
• No more than 6 points for MINOR offences
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Strong communication and customer service skills
