Kitchen Manager – East Midlands Airport – Premier Inn (12‑month secondment)

As Kitchen Manager for Premier Inn you will be responsible for the Thyme Restaurant, ensuring the daily success and smooth operation of the kitchen. Your focus will be on creating a winning team and delivering outstanding service to our guests in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.

Salary: £36,500 – £41,250

Responsibilities

  • Support the Hotel Manager in recruitment, induction, and onboarding of new kitchen team members.
  • Lead by example with a hands‑on approach, communicating effectively and motivating the team through pre‑shift briefs.
  • Manage stock control and food margins.
  • Ensure compliance with NSF, EHO, and Health and Safety audits to a high standard.
  • Deliver food to spec and brand standards.
  • Drive individual high performance through development and regular one‑to‑one meetings.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and thrive under high volume pressures.
  • Display passion for the brand, ensuring the team is knowledgeable and confident.
  • Collaborate closely with the Restaurant General Manager.
