Riding Groom (Job Ref: 26N/GROO)

Randox Laboratories are recruiting for a Riding Groom to be based at our stables, outside Crumlin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the equine industry and a genuine passion for horses to join a dedicated team.

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week minimum. This role will include some weekend work and bank holidays, with flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Daily care of horses and foals within the stables
• Feeding and checking water troughs
• Mucking out the stables
• Cleaning tack
• Grooming horses
• Checking horses for illness or injury
• Helping to handle and train young horses and foals

Candidate

Essential

• Previous experience working with horses
• Strong attention to detail (identifying injury or illness in horses)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility on hours, including weekends and bank holidays
• Clean driving licence

Desirable

• HGV / Trailer licence
• Confidence in handling horses in various situations
