Salary: £40,000 per annum

An established golf club is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and reliable Head Chef to lead its kitchen operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on, customer‑focused chef with a passion for high‑quality food and service, working in a well‑structured and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation
• Develop and deliver a varied daily menu, ensuring consistently high standards of quality and presentation
• Plan and deliver catering for a wide range of events, including club matches, private functions, themed evenings, and special events
• Lead, manage, motivate, and inspire the kitchen team
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety procedures
• Maintain strict quality control standards
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations
• Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost control, working within agreed budgets
• Work closely with the front‑of‑house team to ensure smooth service and successful event delivery

Key Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a quality food‑led environment
• Strong culinary skills with creativity, passion, and attention to detail
• A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Confident leadership and strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
• Ability to create and adapt menus for different occasions and customer expectations
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Own transport preferred due to location
