Location: Outskirts of Cambridge (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)
Rate: Flexible – please state your required hourly rate
The Role
This is a hands‑on role working with young people across the criminal justice system, helping to reduce offending behaviours and support positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting assessments and managing risk
- Developing and delivering intervention plans
- Writing reports for court and partner agencies
- Working closely with services including education, housing, substance misuse and psychology
- Supporting young people through rehabilitation and diversion from offending
Requirements
- Diploma‑level qualification or above in a relevant field (e.g. Social Work, Youth Work, Probation)
- Experience working within youth justice, offending services or similar environments
- Strong background in risk assessment, report writing and multi‑agency working
- Ability to manage a complex caseload independently
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the county for visits
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working – typically 1 day per week in the office
- Significant travel required across the county (home visits, partner agencies etc.)
