We are looking for a practical, hands‑on Workshop Furniture Builder / Assembly Operative to join a growing manufacturing team in Banbury. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, building products from components, and taking pride in producing high-quality finished furniture. You’ll be working in a busy workshop environment where accuracy, quality, and teamwork are key.
What you’ll be doing
- Building and assembling furniture using hand and power tools
- Working from technical drawings and production instructions
- Producing high-quality finished furniture to specification
- Carrying out basic machine operation where required
- Checking your own work to ensure high standards are met
- Keeping your workspace safe, clean, and organised
What we need from you
- Experience in furniture assembly, joinery, carpentry, or manufacturing preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Able to read and follow basic technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, positive, and willing to learn
