Description :What you’ll be doing:Training military students in Weapons MaintenanceSupporting personalised learning by working with L&D and training staff to tailor training to each trainee’s needs, while promoting modernised courses and cultural change.Maintaining electrical equipment used for trainingSharing and applying best practices across establishments to enhance training quality.Standardising training systems and processes across all Royal Navy Weapons Engineering training locations.What we’re looking for:Essential Skills/experienceExperience of maintenance of Royal Navy Weapons Systems.Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of trainingHNC in electronics (minimum) or equivalentProficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplaceAbility to gain UK SC clearance.Desirable Skills/experience:Military weapon engineering weapon systems or equivalent experience would be desirableAny previous teaching/training experience would be beneficialAbout SelborneSelborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK, Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.Our ‘one team’ philosophy is about collaboration and openness, key to the success of this programme.
