Join Our Team as a Vehicle Technical Advisor. As a Technical Advisor at The AA, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting customers and contact centre staff with your knowledge and experience. Shift & Salary
- Salary: £35,000 pa plus benefits
- Shifts: Between 0700 – 2000 Monday to Sunday
- Location: Oldbury, dynamic working with flexible office days
Responsibilities
- Provide essential technical support, advice, and repair fixes to customers over the telephone, ensuring genuine breakdowns are addressed.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively to resolve breakdowns and simplify information for customers.
- Record data accurately in relevant databases to support management insights and decision-making.
- Focus on target‑driven results while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent, plus substantial industry experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to provide technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information into simple terms.
- Flexible and willing to work outside normal hours and on a roster that includes weekends.
