Role Overview

Whitehouse Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join the school. This is an exciting opportunity to work under guidance of teaching/senior staff, to help create a supportive and engaging learning environment for our pupils.

This role is working term time only plus 5 training days and is part‑time 32.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification.
  • Working knowledge of national/foundation curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategies.
  • Experience of working in a school environment, ideally in Key Stage 2.
  • Ability to develop good relationships with children and to work with them to promote high standards of behaviour and co‑operation.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative.
